Sunfest 2012

May 7, 2012

PPB Newswire: Monday, May 7, 2012, West Palm Beach, Florida.

Moe Joe was at Sunfest this past weekend with his lovely daughter celebrating their birthdays. Beautiful weather, lots of fun, and great shows. He even played with the PPB South (see set list below). They saw five bands. Here is how they ranked them:

1. The Outlaws – Simply amazing. New album coming out later this month. Their first in 18 years! Watch them perform “Grey Ghost” from their new album:

2. Creed – They are back. 3 years ago at Jones Beach when they first got back together, Scott Stapp didn’t have his voice. At Sunfest he was awesome, and so was the band. Now they need some new music. Great show.
3. Paul Rodgers – Sang a bunch of Bad Company songs. Really great. Can’t Get Enough of Your Love!
4. Graham’s Number – Good Reggae and Rock band that performed before Paul Rodgers.
5. The Marshall Tucker Band – A big disappointment. Doug Gray lost his voice, talked more than he sang, and stopped “Can’t You See” near the end of the song to talk for 10 minutes. Marcus Henderson, their Flutist/Keyboard player forgot the 3rd verse, and then Doug absolutely killed “Heard it in a Love Song”, the encore.
